Familystories.io is a software designed to help you learn about your older family members' stories and memories.
We provide 300+ interview questions, curated by a professional interviewer and narratologist designed AI, which are divided between the three stages of life (youth, middle age, and later life). Our pre-prompted questions are continuously updated. We also offer an AI generated 'create a question' section (in beta) which will create thoughtful questions based on your prompts.

Instructions
1.) Visit or call your senior loved ones and tell them you want to learn more about their life using an interview tool.
2.) Grab a cup of coffee or tea; get comfy.
3.) Start recording.
4.) Ask questions about the three stages of their life by clicking the respective buttons or prompting an AI developed question.
5.) As your loved one responds, actively listen, pose additional questions, and share your views.
6.) Don't be afraid to take breaks! There are over 300 pre-generated questions, and unlimited AI developed questions.
7.) Adjust, skip, or rearrange questions to best fit your situation.
8.) Revel in the profound discussions, tales, and fresh memories you make!
Tips for Interviewing
Get inquisitive! You're bound to learn something new.
Compelling stories contain both action questions (i.e "When did you know you were going to marry Grandma?") & introspection follow ups (i.e "What did it feel like when you were getting ready to propose?") — use both!
Ask open-ended follow-up questions that enrich the context and depth of the story.
Honor their pace. Give them time to reminisce and reply.
